LaKeisha Bryant-Hall
Chapter President

Greetings,

On behalf of the hardworking, high-spirited, humble members of the Hattiesburg Alumnae Chapter (HAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, thank you for visiting our website. I am blessed beyond measures and proud to serve as the president of this honorable and hospitable chapter. Since the chartering of our chapter on April 19, 1986, we have been HAC: Humbly Advancing our Community through local activities and events aligned with Delta’s National Programmatic Thrust and Public Service Initiatives that focus on:

  • Economic Development
  • Educational Development
  • International Awareness and Involvement
  • Physical and Mental Health
  • Political Awareness (Social Action)

We are an award-winning chapter servicing Forrest and Lamar Counties and we look forward to continued partnerships as we exemplify the legacy of compassionate service planted by our 22 Founders and our 26 Charter Members.

If you are a duly-initiated member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated or know someone who is and are looking for a chapter to call home, please consider us. With all generations represented, including Delta Dolls (21-35), Delta Divas (36—61) and Delta DEARS (62 and up), we are a very diverse and inclusive chapter and we like to have FUN after first taking care of Delta business. We would be honored to have you join us, so always know, your seat at the HAC table awaits you!

“Service is the rent we pay for the privilege of being on this earth.” – Shirley Chisholm

Yours In Sisterhood, Love and Service,
